Paula Wolfert on Yours Truly and Alison Harris

When we were on book tour last April/May the great Paula Wolfert, a bona fide National Treasure, author of some of the best cookbooks ever written on French, Mediterranean and other fare, and an all-around wonderful person, introduced us at Readers Books in Sonoma.

It only took me three months to learn how to use my new computer, teach myself to edit a video, and then post it on YouTube. I’m a little slow, but here it is… This is almost too good to be true: the dream introduction. Can you see me blushing?

I’m pasting a link to YouTube but will also attempt to embed the video here.

  1. It is rare that l get two for one in anything worthwhile! You two are the best! Thank you for asking me to do the intros. Anytime to just have time with you both!

  2. Bravissimo!!

I couldn’t have said it any better myself. Paula Wolfert does a wonderful job explaining why David’s writing and sweeping Paris to Rome perspective is so very special!!

Add Alison’s wonderful shared sensitivity and photographic talent and one quickly sees why their combined work is to behold, revel in and enjoy.

Kudos on the continued success of Paris: Paris and for how the book reveals both sides and faces few rarely see in the City of Light.

  3. WoW! What a introduction.I need to convince David and Alison to walk me around Paris!
